About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting team by managing business mailboxes, data entry, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new and existing business mailboxes
  • Perform data entry and record keeping tasks
  • Organize and maintain our diary system
  • Issue policy documents
  • Communicate with underwriters and network of brokers
  • Action ad-hoc requests

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an insurance, financial, or risk sector
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
