About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiographer to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior MRI/CT Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical MRI scans to produce diagnostic information, adhering to current protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest standard of practical and theoretical knowledge to ensure excellence in MRI techniques, modifying protocols as necessary.
  • Ensure awareness of COSHH and Health and Safety at Work Act guidelines, and take necessary precautions when working in a strong magnetic field.
Requirements
  • State registration as a Radiographer.
  • DCR/BSc in Radiography.
  • Cannulation certificate or completed workbook.
  • Significant recent postgraduate experience in cross-sectional imaging.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate certificate.
  • Experience in supervision of diagnostic radiographer staff in modalities.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to express themselves clearly in English.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely in English.
  • Ability to use word processing software and IT systems.
  • Evidence of working within a team.
Personal Qualities
  • Evidence of personal development, enthusiasm, and initiative.
  • Evidence of CPD in MRI and CT.
