Autism Services Coordinator - Special Needs Management

Remote Position

Salary Range: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

This role offers the flexibility of working from home, with occasional visits to clients' residences as needed. The ideal candidate should reside locally.

TRCGroup is collaborating with a dynamic organization that has made significant strides in enhancing the lives of adults with Autism and learning disabilities within their own living environments.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Autism and exceptional interpersonal skills to support our ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the recruitment, retention, and motivation of your team members.
  • Facilitate continuous professional development for your staff.
  • Conduct regular quality supervisions, performance reviews, team meetings, and debriefs.
  • Perform staff observations and competency evaluations while managing staffing issues, including performance and capability in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff schedules and timesheets in compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Provide a minimum of 12 hours per week of direct support to individuals.
  • Identify and nurture talent for future leadership roles.
  • Fulfill senior support worker, team leader, and support worker responsibilities as necessary.
  • Cover shifts in the event of staffing shortages.
  • Participate in the company on-call system outside of regular working hours.
  • Coordinate with the housing provider for maintenance and repair needs.
  • Lead health and safety initiatives as required by the partnership with the housing provider (e.g., fire alarm checks).
