ROLE SUMMARY
The Finisher plays a crucial role in the production process, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. This position is vital for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the designated area.

The Finishing section encompasses a variety of essential tasks, including deburring, dressing, polishing, blasting, laser marking, and the assembly of Orthopaedic Instruments and Implants.

Materials commonly processed include Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminium, and Plastics.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Performing deburring and dressing tasks
  • Executing polishing procedures
  • Conducting blasting operations
  • Applying paint as required
  • Laser marking products accurately
  • Assembling components and ensuring all parts meet the highest standards of quality and functionality
  • Meeting production targets efficiently
  • Facilitating effective workflow in and out of the section
  • Ensuring safe working conditions within the area
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance on section equipment
  • Upholding quality standards and adherence to established work processes
  • Complying with the Company's Quality Assurance policies
  • Performing ad hoc duties as assigned

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Exhibiting a supportive attitude towards all team members to foster positive working relationships
  • Paying special attention to colleagues within the section and other areas as directed by Management
  • Demonstrating punctuality
  • Maintaining effective working practices
  • Adhering to Company policies, including but not limited to, eating and drinking regulations, and mobile phone usage
  • Implementing relevant Health & Safety policies within the section
  • Monitoring equipment and identifying maintenance needs, reporting them to management

  • Shift Allowance - 2nd Shift: x0.25 / Night Shift: x0.33
  • Overtime Rate - Mon-Sat: x0.5 / Sun: Double-time
