Job Title: Lead Scrub Practitioner - Urology Theatre Team

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Scrub Practitioner to join our esteemed Urology Theatre Team at a distinguished private hospital in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the theatre team, conducting audits, and providing clinical oversight and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational management of the theatre team
  • Conduct various audits and ensure stock and consumable requirements are met
  • Investigate any accidents or complaints
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance
  • Lead a team of six people, offering support and development

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Urology Theatres
  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualifications with a valid NMC Pin or HCPC registration
  • Strong knowledge of clinical practices
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Some management experience, with training and development provided
  • A collaborative team spirit, willing to support colleagues when needed
