There is no strict requirement for office attendance; rather, it is at the discretion of team leaders to determine the best working arrangements, typically involving occasional office visits. The company is keen to leverage digital strategies as a core component of its growth and expansion plans.

About The Role

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Data and Website leadership teams. The Optimisation Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company's objectives over the coming years, with full responsibility for conversion optimisation efforts. This position offers a diverse range of challenges, given the high volume of user interactions across various platforms.

The company has established itself as a foundational entity in the travel industry, maintaining a leading position in online traffic for many years.

Self-management and consultancy skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with multiple stakeholders to identify their requirements and objectives. Each day will present unique challenges and opportunities for problem-solving across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with design, development, and product teams to enhance user experiences and streamline the conversion process.
  • Executing A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimental methodologies to validate hypotheses and drive improvements in conversion rates.
  • Ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and user interface elements to provide a seamless user journey.
  • Utilising insights from user research, heatmaps, usability testing, and analytics tools to inform decisions.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses of user behaviour and funnel performance to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Generating regular reports and actionable insights based on conversion rate performance and testing outcomes.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
Required Experience
  • Background in digital product management, digital marketing, or e-commerce with a focus on conversion rate optimisation.
  • Proficiency in web analytics and experimental tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence change across various levels.
  • Knowledge of web design principles, UX/UI best practices, and usability testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Experience with tag management solutions.
  • Knowledge of project management tools would be beneficial.
