We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead OCS Engineer to join our team at HS2 Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of the Overhead Catenary System (OCS) for our high-speed rail project.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the OCS engineering team, ensuring that design and construction meet project requirements and standards.
- Develop and implement technical solutions to resolve issues related to OCS systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all relevant disciplines are considered in the design and implementation of OCS systems.
- Ensure that HS2 Technical Governance arrangements are followed, and carry out peer reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices and innovative engineering techniques to drive consistency and efficiency across the project.
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering and safety standards on large complex projects.
- Strong technical expertise in OCS systems and railway engineering.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
