Job Overview:

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a seasoned Business Insights Analyst with expertise in SQL and experience in the Property & Casualty insurance sector.
In this role, you will serve as a key data authority for our innovative data platform, collaborating closely with both business users and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend their data needs and document them appropriately. Once finalized, convert these into actionable stories and tasks for the development team.
  • Leverage your specialized knowledge of business products and systems to design effective and creative technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough testing of modifications.
  • Organize and lead requirements gathering sessions, including workshops and one-on-one interviews.
  • Conduct system prototype demonstrations to confirm requirements.
  • Support the digital product manager in prioritizing business needs.

Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and practices within an IT context.
  • Experience in the General and London Market Insurance sectors.
  • Proven track record in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Strong grasp of agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to influence stakeholders to enhance processes and application quality.
  • Experience in Greenfield Data Warehouse projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar agile project management tools.
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to utilize SQL tools for data retrieval.
