Job Description

As a Trainee Contracts Manager at Construction Logistics Group, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in construction management, resource procurement, project oversight, and client relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage project resources and material procurement to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Review and negotiate rates with clients to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
  3. Prepare trade contract bid documents and handle tenders to secure new business opportunities.
  4. Oversee subcontractors and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Contribute to work planning and client value engineering to improve project outcomes.
  6. Regularly visit project sites, review progress, and provide project reporting to stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with the Resourcing Team to ensure top-quality labour and meet project requirements.
Entry Requirements:
  1. A Level BB or BTEC National Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (B or above) or reformed grade 6 or above.
  3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage projects and teams.
