We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lecturer to join our Hair and Beauty delivery team. As a lecturer in hairdressing and barbering, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality education and training programs that meet the needs of our learners.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Barbering/Hairdressing level 1 to level 3 and evening courses as well as some weekend work and involvement in competition work.
- Plan, deliver, and mark lessons, and be prepared to internal quality check across all levels of hairdressing/barbering.
- Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes for learners on their hairdressing and barbering programmes of study.
- Hold at least GCSE grade 1-4 (or equivalent) qualification in English and maths.
- Hold a minimum level 5 teaching qualification.
- Hold an Assessors award qualification.
- Hold a minimum level 3 in hairdressing and/or barbering.
- Teaching and industry experience is essential.
- Eligibility to join the Teachers Pensions Scheme.
- Up to 50 days annual leave per year (pro-rata for part time working).
