About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our Sustainability Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable strategies for our clients, focusing on energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and environmental sustainability.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for energy-efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions.
  • Support the development of environmental assessments, such as BREEAM, WELL, and HQM, from early design stages through to completion.
  • Assist in the delivery of research and development initiatives to stay at the forefront of sustainability knowledge in our industry.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the built environment sector, with a strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading sustainability frameworks and standards, such as BREEAM and WELL.
