Global Inkjet Systems Ltd (GIS) is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead our manufacturing operations. As the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for driving LEAN principles, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the GIS manufacturing strategy to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Drive LEAN principles to improve efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage production schedules and budgets to ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.
  • Mentor and develop a team of 8 direct reports to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business practices.
Requirements
  • Proven transformational leadership skills with the ability to drive operational improvement at the shop floor level.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders.
  • Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities derived from LEAN/ Six Sigma deployments.
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
  • Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Technical mindset with experience leading Electronics and Mechanical Assembly teams.
  • An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures.
