Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in Cambridge as a Senior Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, assisting Partners in client work, business development, and group management. You may also become involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit work and set budgets, considering the commercial aspects of clients' businesses.
  • Arrange timetables, staff bookings, and oversee planning, review, and completion of audits.
  • Manage client billing.
Staff Management
  • Organise staff on jobs, ensuring clarity on expectations and timelines, proper training, and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure appropriate in-house and external training is received.
  • Participate in client segment focus group meetings.
Requirements
  • An accounting qualification such as ACA, CA, or ACCA.
  • Significant external audit experience in a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and their application.
