Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Co. Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting PM and breakdown activities on shift and delivering World Class service in regards to filling machine or process plant availability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve all plant, processes and assets to a safe, efficient and reliable standard
- Perform day-to-day maintenance and improvement of plant, assets and services
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with food and H&S standards
- Complete PPM tasks and formulate improved maintenance practices
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely fashion, ensuring the smooth running of the Engineering Request System
- Champion health and safety
- Diagnose faults and test, repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
- Observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data
- Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as required
Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced maintenance engineer who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and be able to diagnose and repair faults in a timely manner. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
