Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Service and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools and techniques in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Order replacement parts as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Formal qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering, such as an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or City & Guilds certification.
