The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team, responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of internal and external WiFi installations across our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the installation of wireless networks, including indoor and outdoor deployments
  • Install data networks utilizing copper and fibre technologies
  • Install cable management and associated infrastructure, including comms cabinets, PDUs, and shelving with patching
  • Diagnose and repair faults in wireless networks
  • Participate in manual and ground work as required
  • Install and test copper and fibre data cabling
  • Install wireless network infrastructure, including Ethernet switches and access points
  • Work under the guidance of a site supervisor to ensure successful installations
  • Travel to sites across the UK, potentially staying away from home Monday to Friday

Customer Focus:

  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Handle customer queries, provide solutions and alternatives within the expected timeframe, and follow up to ensure resolution

About You:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

You will have:

  • Good understanding of wireless network technologies
  • Confidence using IT equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to adapt to situational needs and be a flexible team member
  • Able to work under pressure and self-guided when needed
  • Self-motivation and ability to work to challenging deadlines

Requirements:

  • Driving license
