Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installation Specialist to join our team at Handsfree Group UK. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and servicing a wide range of aftermarket products, including Telematics devices, DVR camera installations, DVS installations, safety sensor installations, and charging cradles/docks, on 12v and 24v auto electrical systems such as cars, vans, and HGVs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Servicing: Install and service vehicle DVR camera systems and DVS Systems, telematics units, and other aftermarket equipment fitted to 12v and 24v vehicles.
  • Customer Interaction: Liaise with and handle customer queries on site, ensuring all interaction with customers is conducted in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures and requirements in line with best practice.
  • Job Management: Accurately complete job management system.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in meeting the demands of the role.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in 12v and 24v auto electrics.
  • Qualifications: Full UK Driving License.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Auto electrical knowledge and experience working on commercial vehicles, logical approach to installing and fault-finding technical products, self-motivated with the drive to provide first-class customer service.
