As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, leading and managing audits from start to finish, preparing statutory accounts, and providing advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including corporate and individual clients
  • Lead and manage audits from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepare statutory accounts, including FRS 102 and FRS 105, and corporation tax returns
  • Provide advisory services to clients on how to improve their business
  • Work on other areas of accountancy, including personal tax returns, VAT returns, and business management assignments
  • Review and manage the work of junior staff members

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 1 year PQE
  • Experience of audit and accounts assignments, including statutory accounts and tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software packages, including FRS 102 and FRS 105
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
