Business Development Specialist

Kymos Group is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Specialist to expand our presence in the Italian and South Mediterranean markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on our expertise in analytical services such as bioanalysis, CMC development, and advanced therapies. You will also manage existing accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to identify and acquire new clients within the target region.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and CROs.
  • Present Kymos' capabilities and value proposition effectively, highlighting our expertise in analytical services for small molecules, biologics, and nucleic acids.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop compelling proposals and sales materials tailored to specific client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to track leads, manage interactions, and analyze sales performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related field. A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing is highly desirable.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry, including sales, account management, or marketing roles.
  • Native Italian speaker with professional proficiency in English. Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM software.
