About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Methods Business and Digital Technology. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering digital transformation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Solutions: Utilize low-code platforms and related technologies to design and build innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
  • Technical Delivery: Lead the technical delivery of complex projects, leveraging technical integrations with low-code platforms and other applications and data sources.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide direction and technical expertise on the implementation, configuration, and use of low-code platforms and associated technologies to build digital services for clients.
  • Training and Advice: Provide training and advice to customers and colleagues on the use of low-code platforms to deliver digital services.
  • Technical Standards: Ensure that technical standards for the design, development, testing, and deployment of digital services are defined, documented, and maintained.
  • Technical Libraries: Support the development of technical libraries, ensuring digital and logical assets meet agreed standards.
  • Generic Components: Design generic components and templates that can be reused by other Methods consultants when delivering solutions to customers.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent professional experience in information technology or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience of PowerApps experience, application development, data migration, technical solution architecture, and design.
  • Business Analysis: Experience of business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process definition, data analysis, and re-engineering.
  • Project Management: Experience of working within project teams using agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Experience of supporting the facilitation of change within and across public sector organizations.
  • Software Development: Experience of software development or data analysis in a local government organization or similar public sector body.
  • Training and Coaching: Experience of delivering training on software applications.
  • Technical Skills: SQL skills, including MySQL and SSIS, data analysis, integration, migration, and database optimization.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills across a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to clearly explain technical ideas and concepts to non-technical audiences.
