Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Highway Design Manager / Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in highway design and project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage highway design and project management teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualified professional with HNC/degree in Civil Engineering or similar related Construction qualification.
  • Chartered Engineer (or near) status from ICE or CIHT.
  • Extensive experience in highway design and project management, preferably with experience of working on large National Highways / County Council led projects.
  • Strong knowledge of managing Professional and Engineering Contracts, National Highways Procedures, and PCF Process.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
