Cento is in search of a dedicated and skilled Field Operations Leadership Manager to enhance our team.

This remote position entails supervising the operational management of our field personnel and ensuring the effective delivery of services throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills, proficiency in report writing, and possess a proactive and optimistic demeanor. This role necessitates frequent travel and site visits, occasionally during unsocial hours.

Staff Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate and assess nationwide operations and staff performance to boost efficiency and profitability.
Guarantee optimal utilization of field personnel, minimizing unproductive pay.

Warehouse and Fleet Oversight:
Manage the operations of warehouses and fleets in both northern and southern regions.

Collaboration with Planning Team:
Foster a strong partnership with the planning team to enhance operational effectiveness in staff deployment.

Implementation of Quality Control:
Create and execute various quality control measures.

Training and Staff Development:
Organize training sessions and workshops for both new and existing personnel.

Setting Objectives:
Establish targets and business objectives, collaborating with the team to achieve these goals.
Provide mentorship and guidance to field personnel.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all processes adhere to company employment policies, procedures, and regulations.

Customer Relations Management:
Address customer complaints in conjunction with field personnel or delivery, resolving issues and maintaining customer relationships.

Operational Oversight:
Ensure all operations are cost-efficient and within budget, enhancing operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
Legal
Compliance Assurance:
Ensure the organization's processes remain legally compliant.

Budget Oversight:
Manage budgets and forecasts.

Quality Control and Performance Indicators:
Conduct quality controls and monitor field production KPIs.

Recruitment and Team Management:
Recruit field personnel, oversee onboarding, and manage day-to-day operations.

Performance Oversight:
Manage staff performance, including disciplinary actions.

Enhancing Customer Service:
Proactively devise strategies to elevate the quality of customer service.

Development of New Services:
Assist in the development and launch of new field services and products.
Out-of-Hours Support: Act as a point of contact outside of regular hours if needed to support field personnel.
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar capacity.
Understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Familiarity with business and financial principles.
NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
Produce method statements and risk assessments.
Review and generate Health & Safety policies.
Act as the Health and Safety officer for all field personnel.
