About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Consultant to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical leadership and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in the provision of Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine services.
  • Participate in the Gastrointestinal Bleeding on-call rota and contribute to the development of clinical care pathways.
  • Promote high standards of clinical care through direct patient care and ongoing professional development.
  • Support the development of specialist interests and contribute to the growth of the department.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and improve clinical outcomes.
