Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Still Life photography that resonates with our brand ethos and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with your senior photographer to align with the creative lead.
  • Exhibit focus, drive, and professionalism while embracing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive demeanor in a dynamic studio environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with your Creative Lead and Senior Photographer.
  • Communicate effectively within the studio to enhance the visual aesthetics of our imagery.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, styles, and cultural movements to inspire your work.
  • Work cohesively with fellow photographers to achieve collective goals.
  • Approach projects with innovation and initiative, consistently seeking creative solutions.
  • Adhere to established style guides and briefs from product teams or studio management.
  • Be flexible in working across various Next studios and locations as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Expert knowledge of photography, retouching, and lighting techniques is essential.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Capture One.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles is advantageous.
  • Confidence in mentoring others on photographic techniques.
  • High proficiency with MAC operating systems.
  • Experience in a large creative studio setting.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and lighting methodologies.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to all projects.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and workload management skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative flair with a knack for generating innovative ideas.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Commercially aware, with a keen understanding of retail fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce and editorial photography is crucial.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A compelling portfolio or website is required.
