Join The Good Food Group Ltd, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, as we seek an Account Executive to support our National Account Managers in building, executing, and managing account plans with key retailers.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual to assist in the development and implementation of account plans, manage documentation, and ensure timely execution of marketing and promotional plans. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow in an account management role.
Key Responsibilities:- Support National Account Managers in building and activating account plans with major retailers.
- Manage and submit documentation for Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and ensure timely execution of marketing and promotional plans.
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned channels, supporting National Account Managers with day-to-day account management tasks.
- Maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, ensuring clear and open communication about plans, submissions, and timelines.
- Coordinate with brands to ensure access to necessary materials for effective plan execution.
- Proactively follow up with brands and retailers to ensure smooth execution of all agreed-upon plans.
- Help resolve issues between retailers and brands by escalating to National Account Managers as necessary.
- Support the execution of promotional and marketing plans, including monitoring performance and providing feedback to National Account Managers and the wider team.
- Ensure timely execution of promotional plans and provide reports on performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a client-facing or administrative role, particularly in retail or FMCG sectors, is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail, particularly when managing documentation, promotional plans, and timelines.
- Proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow in an account management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Negotiation and account management.
- Building strategic plans with retailers.
- Managing end-to-end Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and promotional plans.
- Developing strong relationships with buyers and brands.
- Commercial acumen and financial planning for account management.
