We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Allied Bakeries in Newcastle-under-Lyme. As a key member of our Vehicle Maintenance Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular inspections and maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Perform repairs and services on vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Work closely with our operations team to identify and implement improvements to our maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve our business objectives and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid HGV Licence (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
