Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Planning Strategist to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Operational Planning function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement medium to long-term capacity plans to support business objectives and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Build and maintain complex capacity models to forecast business needs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Produce and analyze business intelligence reports to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity across Planning, Finance, and HR.
  • Contribute to the achievement of our Operational Planning mission statement: 'Foster an efficient environment where engaged people deliver superior service.'

Requirements

  • Proven experience in capacity planning and business analysis, with a focus on medium to long-term planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leaders and executives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Technical expertise in data analysis and forecasting, with experience using advanced Excel and Erlang models.
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and ability to manual forecast using historical data and statistics.
