Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be working in a Key Stage 2 class, supporting the class teacher with their lessons and providing emotional and behavioural support to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils' learning and development in a primary setting
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support to pupils with SEN
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
