About the Role

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nursing Associate to join our Home Based Treatment Team.

The successful candidate will work in the community with people experiencing acute mental health distress, supporting individuals in their own homes to avoid hospital admission and facilitate early discharge from hospital.

Main Responsibilities

The team is looking for a registered nurse associate with excellent clinical skills, a good working knowledge of mental health and community services, and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, listening, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use IT systems and provide evidence of recent continued professional development within the scope of nursing.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered Nurse Associate on NMC register
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development that supports clinical practice
  • Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans
  • Ability to use IT systems

Desirable

  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
  • Excellent communication, listening, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
