About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investigator to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As an Investigator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the UK's financial markets by investigating potential misconduct by regulated firms and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential misconduct, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from different perspectives and backgrounds to support investigations or projects involving large volumes of information.
  • Draft and review case documents, including witness statements, civil orders, and statutory notices.
  • Provide legal advice to the case team and take responsibility for the preparation of privileged correspondence.
  • Support the preparation of cases for the Regulatory Decision Committee.
