About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional membership with a relevant institution, such as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Association for Project Management (APM).
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS training.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety and CDM requirements.
  • Digitally savvy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
