About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Crypto. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trading platforms and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production system issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our users.
  • System Administration: Perform daily system checks and monitoring to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including development and operations, to ensure effective delivery of supporting services to our end-users.
  • Knowledge Management: Document knowledge articles and manage the team's knowledge base, sharing and promoting overall knowledge level.
  • Process Improvement: Help the team manager refine and streamline day-to-day operations via automations and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 2-5 years of experience in application support or application development, with a strong understanding of Linux environments and cloud computing.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring Systems: Experience with monitoring systems, including Datadog, NewRelic, and Grafana.
  • Automation: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, including Python and Ruby.
