About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing patient-focused healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside clinical colleagues to support the pharmaceutical needs of various specialties.
  • Participate in clinical pharmacy dispensary duties in our automated dispensary.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in a range of clinical specialties.
  • Contribute to the improvement of prescribing and clinical care for patients.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Post Graduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Current and continued registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Post-registration experience in hospital clinical pharmacy at band 6 or above
  • Experience of working in a range of clinical specialties
Desirable Skills and Attributes
  • Evidence of working with consultants and the multidisciplinary team at ward and pharmacy level
  • IT literacy and ability to use relevant IT systems within the NHS
  • Presentation skills and ability to present complex data to various audiences
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Innovative and well-organized
