Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a specialist support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe and profound learning difficulties, complex needs, autism, and sensory impairments.

About the Role:
  • Offer general classroom support to students with SEN
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support students' learning
  • Assist with administrative duties, including photocopying, printing, and display boards
  • Offer emotional support to students and colleagues
  • Monitor students during break times and assist with school trips and extra-curricular activities
  • Attend additional training to develop your skill set further
About You:
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children
  • Strong understanding of SEN and ability to recognize individual needs
  • Understanding of safeguarding and safe working practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Team player with a great sense of humor
