About the Role

The Engineering Test Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of mechanical testing in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, with experience in test supervision, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise mechanical testing operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and technicians on site, ensuring that tests are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers to report testing progress and provide updates on test results.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for testing, and that tests are set up and conducted according to plan.
  • Support the test engineer in preparing test reports and resolving any technical issues that may arise during testing.
  • Identify and report any issues with test equipment, and make recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, with experience in test supervision, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and customers.
  • Ability to work a morning shift pattern of 6am-2pm.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
