Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our Defence team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, collaborating with project teams, and evaluating project progress and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project schedules that align with project requirements.
  • Develop project schedules in conjunction with project managers and teams.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define scope of work and develop detailed schedules, cost information, and variance identification.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas.
  • Break down critical path and constraints to understand the effect of changes to schedules and recommend workarounds.
  • Assist project managers in maintaining timely and effective change management processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Typically, degree qualified in a relevant discipline or relatable experience in a project control environment.
  • Experience working in project or programme management environments, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • Experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software.

Security Clearance

Candidates will be required to hold, or be able to hold, valid security clearance (SC) and meet the following requirements:

  • British Nationals
  • Hold a UK Passport
