About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading building services company that specializes in MEP installations. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement temporary building services design solutions for the Hinkley 'C' Common Building Services.
  2. Ensure the integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety, and sustainability of design and engineering for compliant, defect-free handover for operational service, delivered to programme and budget.
  3. Coordinate with the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor ensuring a regular flow of information to comply with CDM requirements.
  4. Be part of the CBS mechanical design team to provide design solutions including, but not limited to, Ventilation, LTHW, CHW & CWS piped services, and wastewater drainage.
  5. Collaborate and share relevant information between design services to ensure no elements of integration are left out of the final designs.

    4. Schedules
    5. Drawings
  6. Review and check vendor documents/information for electrical compliance with project specifications.
  7. Support the Design Manager and contribute to design/construction reviews & sign-off.
  8. Ensure design risks are considered and prepare design risk assessments. Communicate residual design risks to others.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 4 years+ experience in building services engineering design – major projects experience is essential. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex design information to stakeholders.
