Exciting IT Procurement Manager Opportunity

We are working with a global facilities management company who are market leaders in various industries, including aviation, hospitality, rail, construction, and more, in their search for a new IT Procurement Manager.

This strategic position will be supporting the company's award-winning services; joining the Indirect Procurement Team through their aggressive growth strategy.

With bases in Ipswich and Central London, there is flexibility on where you work on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel between offices.

If you're a driven and ambitious Procurement Manager with experience in technology and IT, this could be the perfect position for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a category strategy that secures immediate and long-term success.
  • Audit and assess current contracts, mitigate risks, and implement improvements where needed.
  • Drive performance by managing KPIs and SLAs with current suppliers.
  • Engage suppliers and build sustainable relationships, manage expectations, and communicate effectively to achieve a structured and resilient supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Indirect Procurement in high-risk or high-value opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, implement cost-based reduction strategies capable of delivering annual target savings.
To Be Successful:
  • Excellent diplomatic communication through a range of stakeholders up to c-suite.
  • Track record of devising the sourcing strategy and taking accountability for the strategic direction.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the supplier markets in technology, bringing commercial advantages to the business.
  • Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.
  • Analytical, results-driven, and a genuine team player.
  • MCIPS desirable but not essential.
