**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support Referral Services to promote and encourage good health and wellbeing among clients, children, and families, and adults/older adults.
  • Enable clients or groups to participate in physical activity that suits their interests and makes moving a part of everyday life.
  • Work with a range of clients, including children and families, and adults/older adults, to promote health and wellbeing.
  • Support the development and implementation of projects that promote health and wellbeing, including project planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations and the team to deliver health and wellbeing activities in various venues, including outdoor settings.

**Requirements**

  • Knowledge and understanding of the factors that affect health choices, particularly related to physical activity, food and nutrition, and mental wellbeing.
  • Awareness and understanding of health inequalities and behavior change techniques.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to work with members of the public, volunteers, partner organizations, and the team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and travel independently around the district.
  • Basic level of education and ability to use MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
