Job Summary
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is currently recruiting for a successful manufacturing company based in the UK who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the Management Accountant and other members of the Finance team as required.
- Accrue and prepay expenses.
- Assist in balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Post invoices.
- Assist the Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with Asset Based Lender processes.
- Support the Finance Team with any requirements.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of month-end duties.
- A working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, including stakeholders.
- The ability to work as part of a team and meet tight deadlines.
