Business Development Director Opportunity

Citrus Recruit is excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Director to join a leading Financial Services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a small team of Business Development Managers, driving the team forward towards targets, and contributing to the company's growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of Business Development Managers to deliver individual, team, and company targets.
  • Manage the daily operations of the team, including 121's, quarterly performance reviews, coaching, recruitment, and daily support.
  • Proactively seek new clients to contribute to team and individual targets, and manage the full sales process.
  • Maximise business opportunities by following best practices.
  • Hold quarterly sales team meetings and work closely with external partners, accountants, brokers, and lenders.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales leadership experience in a Financial Services company.
  • Track record of successful delivery in a high-pressure role.
  • Ability to manage a team while contributing to a team target.
  • Excellent people management skills, with experience managing remote BDM's ideal.
  • Track record of recruiting sales candidates and onboarding into teams successfully.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services, particularly lending.
  • Full driving licence.
What We Offer:
  • Salary of up to £70,000.
  • Individual and team bonus paid monthly, plus annual incentives.
  • 28 days holiday + BH (closed over Christmas).

  • Pay mileage at 45p a mile.
