Are you ready to play a vital role in your community? Become a Professional PCV Bus Operator with Arriva and be an essential part of daily commutes. Exciting positions are available across various locations.

Compensation Details:

  • Experienced PCV Holders: Starting at £15.80 per hour, with overtime available at 1.25x the standard rate, reaching up to £19.75 per hour.
  • Inexperienced PCV Holders: Starting at £15.40 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.25x the standard rate, up to £19.25 per hour.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities:

  • Rotating shift patterns across 5 out of 7 days, scheduled up to 6-8 weeks in advance for optimal planning.
  • Morning shifts commence at 04:00, Afternoon shifts at 12:00, and Evening shifts at 18:00 on a rotational basis.
  • Opportunities for overtime at various local depots for those interested in increasing their earnings.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid PCV Licence (Consider applying for our trainee bus operator role if you do not possess this)
  • Minimum age of 18 with at least 6 months of driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Mandatory drug and alcohol screening during the driving assessment
  • Weekend availability as per your schedule, with prior notice.
