Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Brookfield M&E Ltd. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are completed to the highest standards and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate electrical projects to ensure that materials and resources are available.
  • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, establishing the requirements of a project and necessary installation materials, ensuring compliance and testing systems/certification.
  • Assist with Health and Safety preparation and implementation.
  • Attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure that electrical work is being carried out to the required standards.
  • Assist with estimating and tendering the electrical elements of a project.
  • Accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and supervise other operatives as necessary, liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage your own workload and that of the electrical team and sub-contractors to ensure that client commitments are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work weekends/out of hours if required.
  • Oversee and manage small project work.
  • Manage the commissioning and testing of electrical systems and equipment, issuing relevant certification.
  • Manage the electrical team, ensuring they conform to high standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical supervision or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekends/out of hours if required.
