Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering high-quality education to children aged 2 to 4 years, preparing them for their transition to school.

You will assess educational outcomes to identify children requiring additional assistance and design activities tailored to their learning levels, collaborating with the area SENCO and Vulnerable Children Coordinator.

Your insights and recommendations will be valued in enhancing educational standards and care within the nursery environment.

As a role model for fellow staff, you will demonstrate effective teaching methods through structured and planned activities, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Planning, observing, and assessing children's development based on teaching activities.

  • Utilizing observed knowledge to cater to the needs of children requiring extra support, such as those with English as an Additional Language (EAL), Special Educational Needs (SEN), or those exceeding expected learning levels.

Qualifications

A degree in Early Years Education is required.
