Contract: Full Time - Permanent
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our dedicated team at HMP Pentonville, a category B male correctional facility. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the prison's electrical systems.
Your Responsibilities- Perform electrical installations and maintenance in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including plumbers, carpenters, and administrators.
- Contribute to a safe and secure environment for all staff and inmates.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of two years' experience in an electrician role.
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations.
- Relevant qualifications such as C&G 2367 or 2357 and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- 17th or 18th Edition certification.
- BS7671 certification.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
