About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DSEAR Engineer to join our team in shaping the future of our cities and environments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting our teams with a vital function on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams across the UK to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Experience of the role of DSEAR in design delivery, ideally within the water industry, or a related process industry.
  • Sound technical knowledge of the application of DSEAR, including risk assessment and area classification in accordance with EN and IP 15.
  • Strong understanding of ATEX legislation as well as CDM.
