About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Facilitator to join our expanding Neonatal Education Team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and facilitate clinical learning in the neonatal unit and other local areas to identify learning opportunities that enhance the quality of care for babies.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary and inter-departmental learning and simulation activities.
  • Act as a resource and role model for staff on all aspects of clinical education.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Professional with a Specialist Neonatal QIS qualification and ENB 405.
  • First-level degree preferable and/or relevant neonatal experience.
  • Evidence of mentor/practice assessor qualification and teaching and assessing qualification desirable.
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team.
