  • Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed and itemized estimates, taking into account different construction techniques, finishes, and installation requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate pricing proposals to the sales team and customers, ensuring competitiveness in the market.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material estimating within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel, with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately analyze project requirements and cost components.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to construction.
