Job Summary

Cromwell Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric clients, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans for paediatric clients, aged from birth to 18 years, with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions and neurology.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of paediatric clients, prioritizing care and ensuring timely interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning, liaising with external agencies to ensure safe and supportive discharge for patients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient treatment records and reports, adhering to local and national requirements.
  • Clinical Risk Management: Identify and manage potential clinical risks within your caseload, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Patient Care: Promote dignity, privacy, and safety, respecting patients' cultural, spiritual, and personal needs and preferences.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence and best practices in paediatric physiotherapy, participating in departmental training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Proven experience in paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental conditions, with knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
