Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans for paediatric clients, aged from birth to 18 years, with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions and neurology.
- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of paediatric clients, prioritizing care and ensuring timely interventions to meet individual needs.
- Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning, liaising with external agencies to ensure safe and supportive discharge for patients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient treatment records and reports, adhering to local and national requirements.
- Clinical Risk Management: Identify and manage potential clinical risks within your caseload, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Patient Care: Promote dignity, privacy, and safety, respecting patients' cultural, spiritual, and personal needs and preferences.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence and best practices in paediatric physiotherapy, participating in departmental training and professional development opportunities.
- Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience: Proven experience in paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental conditions, with knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: £30 per hour, incorporating payment of annual leave.
- Flexible Working Arrangements: Part-time opportunity, Monday to Friday, with no expectation of on-call or weekend work.
