Job Opportunity

Senior/Principal Structural Engineer

Navartis is working with a top UK engineering design and build consultancy, operating in Building, Civil Engineering, and Infrastructure sectors, on numerous prestigious major projects across the UK.

You would join their team as a Structural Engineer in either Central London or Hertfordshire office, working on large projects across the South East. Two positions are available.

The consultancy has a strong presence in the UK, with 5 offices across Europe, and has worked on numerous major projects around the UK over the years, including prestigious projects in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage allocated engineering aspects of the allocated project
  • Responsible for design and delivery of the project
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the team
  • Work with the client and contractors
  • Provide technical advice
  • Assist with project plans and work with key stakeholders
  • Production of designs and documents

Requirements:

  • Structural engineering background
  • Construction, Building, or Civil Engineering sector project experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Structural Engineering role
  • Strong time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • HND, HNC, or Degree in an engineering-related discipline (e.g., Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering)
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (desirable)

Benefits:

  • 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
  • £50,000 to £65,000, depending on experience level
